My Hobbies

Hobbies are activities that people enjoy doing in their free time, and they can bring a lot of joy and relaxation to daily life. My main hobbies are reading and baking for my family. I first started reading during the second semester of my eighth-grade year. I found an app that allowed you to read web-comics from independent creators that are uploaded to the app for readers who are interested. Some of the works were published on a weekly basis, which would force readers to wait for the next upcoming chapter, or if they wanted, they could buy the app's coin currency to read the chapter earlier than everyone else. I did that sometimes if I was eager enough to read the next chapter. From then, I learned about another app that allowed authors to upload and publish their stories whenever they wanted, but because I was impatient to wait for the authors’ next convenience to write, I always looked for finished books that didn’t require me to wait for upcoming chapters and were ready to read. That was the best app I think I have ever found in my years as a reader. It was free and had so many topics to satisfy any reader, no matter what they were in the mood for. Then I realized I loved reading a lot, and I started to read published books by published authors, which carried me through my whole 9th–10th grade years. Every time you looked at me, I would be engrossed in my phone with my book of the week, because I was on a new book every week or a few days depending on how fast and interested I was in the book that I was reading at the moment. Reading is my main hobby, but I do also enjoy baking. I mainly make cakes and other recipes i find on the internet I made "tres leches" for weekends starght until my family got tired of eating it.
